Software Engineer (w/m/d)
GE HealthCare develops and produces high-end diagnostic ultrasound devices at its location in Zipf, Upper Austria. To strengthen our software department team, we are looking for a software engineer.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Development, implementation, documentation and verification of software modules for diagnostic ultrasound systems
- Realize innovative ideas together with local system engineers and with external R&D partners based on project oriented cooperation
- Enhance and refine interfaces for ultrasound hardware based on Microsoft Visual Studio
- Participate in developing and evaluating new algorithms for these systems
Qualifications:
- Advanced technical education (University, University of applied science) in computer science, software or medical engineering or other relevant field
- Knowledge and experience in C/C++ based on Microsoft Visual Studio
- Extended experience in software engineering, ideally of medical products
- Programming experience in C#,.net, MFC and WPF is appreciated
- Motivation and dedicated commitment in a globally acting company
- Very good German and English language skills

- In Austria we are required to state the minimum pay. For this position, the annual compensation package starts at € 60.000. We will be pleased to discuss the appropriate effective salary based on your qualifications and experience.
