Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Senior Mechanical Engineer has design responsibility to deliver mechanical design for X-ray image detector for CT, X-ray and INV system. Primary Responsibilities:

Developing innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, service, cost, and manufacturability. Leading design visualization efforts and essential component and assembly details to explore multiple design options. Developing engineering design solutions, capable of 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing. Conducting engineering test with specified measurement tools. Developing design with robust solutions with high quality, familiar with mechanical relevant standards. Delivering improvements to customer focused metrics.

Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of experience or Master with 5+ years of experience. Strong expertise in mechanical design of electronic devices, familiar with commonly used material, machining, sheet metal, and die casting parts design and process. Familiar with industry design standards, vendors, and out-of-shelf selection. Proficient in CAD software PTC Creo for 3D modeling and 2D drawing. Ability of tolerance stack up analysis. Experience with robust design, fool proof, design for Assembling, design for manufacturability, and design for service. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English speaking and writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with thermal and mechanical design Design for manufacturing experience Experience with Medical device industry Experience in Design for Reliability Lean Six Sigma Certifications
