Internship Opportunity At Ge Healthcare

GE HealthCare in Zipf is seeking a dedicated individual to adopt an existing database solution to keep track of boards and other components of our medical device prototypes, ensuring to have always a good overview of the inventory and to have accurate device history on demand. The internship is for 1-2 months in July and/or August this year!

Your Internship

• Create specifications about the requirements of dedicated key users

• Adopt the selected database solution to these requirements by writing plugins (Python) or use REST APIs

• Perform tests to check the solution against the requirements

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for this database, efficiency, and reliability.

Our Requirements

• You are a student (eg. HTL, FH,..) in the branch Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field

• Proficiency in programming and database querying (Python, SQL) is required

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is required

We are offering a salary based on collective agreement (KV Elektro) based on your degree program and academic progress.
