Commercial Leader
The Sales Leader sets up a coherent commercial strategy within the GEHC branch in their territory and optimizes the use of resources to cover the market potential. He/she is responsible for defining a go-to-market strategy for the territory and overseeing all account management activities for GEHC, primarily in Imaging, to successfully execute the operational plan.
Main Responsibilities
Achieve all equipment sales objectives:
- Orders, revenue, variable cost margin, as well as service sales revenue, customer satisfaction and loyalty, while respecting the allocated base cost budget
- Act as the main point of contact for Imaging customers in the Eastern region and represent One GE Healthcare in multimodality projects and cross-modality commercial events, being the ultimate responsible for issue resolution in the territory
- In collaboration with the Imaging account management team, actively identify and promote sales opportunities regardless of territorial boundaries
- Promote service offerings, identify commercial service needs and escalate relevant information
- Manage the organizational matrix to optimize coordination and resource utilization across the company
- Contribute to the creation of the annual commercial plan and forecast, and lead initiatives to achieve them through strategic account planning
- Develop and implement an account management strategy for the territory; set sales targets for Imaging Account Managers
- Attract, retain, and develop top-tier commercial talent
- Establish effective communication and seamless collaboration across the territory
- Understand and analyze market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities within the LCT
- Provide ongoing reporting of activities to leadership, modality teams, and marketing services
- Know key opinion leaders in medical services; maintain professional relationships with public authorities
- In collaboration with Imaging modality teams and marketing teams, lead marketing events within the LCT
- Comply with GEHC's rules, procedures, and operational mechanisms
- Ensure company policies and integrity principles are known and respected
- Support digitalization efforts through implementation and daily use of planning and commercial forecasting tools
Qualifications / Requirements
- Master's degree (BAC+4/5) or equivalent experience
- Fluent in French, Flemish, and English (mandatory languages for the role)
- Experience in business management or in sales/marketing, OR equivalent experience in senior leadership roles with increasing responsibilities in the healthcare sector, combined with deep knowledge of the healthcare delivery market
- Proven experience in negotiating large, complex, and strategic contracts
- Knowledge of the medical imaging sector (MRI, CT, X-ray, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional…)
- Strong business management and resource allocation skills, including business plan development
- In-depth knowledge of GEHC and its products and services
- Exceptional team management, coaching, and sales training skills; ability to unite people within a team
- Strong business acumen; organizational and financial skills
- Experience in direct and/or indirect management; ability to lead in a matrix organization
- Proven experience in selling high-tech product solutions
