Advanced Field Engineer

The Advanced Field Engineer is a senior-level technical expert responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex medical systems, providing advanced technical support, and mentoring junior engineers. This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Location - Main: Mazowieckie + additional: Łódzkie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Podlaskie

Activities & Responsibilities

1. Install and configure a range of medical equipment, proficient in several modalities.
2. Perform complex corrective maintenance and installations.
3. Conduct root cause analysis with a 360° approach, considering internal and external factors.
4. Apply basic application knowledge to support clinical workflows.
5. Utilize strong knowledge of power, grounding, and digital systems.
6. Actively promote and use remote diagnostic tools; contribute to the ROLE team.
7. Serve as a role model in administrative tasks and follow-up (including debriefing, parts, KPI tracking).
8. Participate in local Level 2 escalation team, supporting Technical Lead Engineers.
9. Leverage customer knowledge to assist with contract and on-demand revenue growth.
10. Lead communications with customers and act as escalation point for concerns, including installations.
11. Contribute to EHS policy improvements.
12. Own customer issues from dispatch to resolution, engaging team members as needed.
13. Lead, instruct, and coach less experienced Field Engineers.
14. May lead basic projects.

Technical Knowledge & Hard Skills

• Significant experience as a Field Service Engineer for Medical devices.
• Expert in one modality and proficient in at least one other.
• Advanced troubleshooting and system integration skills.
• EHS champion with safety-first mindset.
• Knowledge of Lean & Continuous Improvement principles.
• In-depth knowledge of all processes and tools related to the role.
• Trained and updated in all mandatory training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic business acumen and understanding of key financial drivers.

Pay Range: For Poland based positions, Annual Salary Range: 149 600.00PLN-205 700.00PLN

Placement within this range depends on: Relevant skills and qualifications, Prior job-related experience, Internal equity considerations (alignment with colleagues in similar roles) e.t.c.
