At GEA Refrigeration Netherlands N.V., we're looking for a Service Systems Engineer, ready for a dynamic and challenging role, to strengthen our Technical Service Support department in our factories in Berlin and Hertogenbosch. This department supports GEA country and Customer Service Technicians with its product specialist knowledge, it handles warranty claims and organizes technical product training.
As a Service Systems Engineer you will help the department to become more efficient and effective by designing service processes, configure and control service-related systems and create standardized and ad-hoc management information reports for both factories in 's-Hertogenbosch and Berlin. The first main challenge is joining a multinational transformation team which introduces the SAP/4HANA ERP-system in both factories, with a first Go-Live per July 2027, for which preparations have now started. You will report to the Senior Director Technical Service Support.
Analyzing existing service processes, procedures, systems and reports.
Developing proposals for improvements and advising management.
Creating, executing or coordinating and documenting improvement projects.
Monitoring and maintaining procedures, systems and reports.
Developing and implementing operational and management reports.
Functional manager/lead key user for (ERP) system service applications.
Training and guiding users and key users.
Monitoring incident and problem management.
Change Management.
First-line assessment of ERP Change Requests (CR's).
Drafting functional specifications for CR's.
Monitoring the progress of the implementation of submitted CRs, creating and managing test plans.
Creating and documenting work instructions.
Minimum bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent.
At least 5 years of demonstrable work experience in a service or production environment.
Demonstrated experience in process, system, and reporting analysis and improvement.
Demonstrated experience in ERP system implementations.
Experience working for an internationally operating company.
Willingness to work abroad regularly and for extended periods during system implementations.
Advanced level in English language is mandatory. Intermediate level in Dutch and German is a strong advantage.
