Responsibilities / Tasks
The Service Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects from initial concept through to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives by coordinating people, resources, and processes.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Define project objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities
- Assess resource requirements and manage availability and allocation (internal and third-party)
- Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring delivery within financial targets
- Create detailed project plans including milestones, workstreams, and activities
- Oversee project execution in accordance with the established plan
- Track progress and provide regular status updates to the project team and stakeholders
- Manage changes in scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring proper documentation and communication
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
Your Profile / Qualifications
What sets you up for success:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience managing projects in the food processing or industrial engineering sectors
- Strong technical knowledge of food plant systems, equipment, and production processes
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards
- Fluent in Italian; proficiency in English is an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites for project execution and meetings
