Service Project Management Manager

At GEA, we are strengthening our service project management and 2nd level support team within our Drying & Formulation business. Our service business is on a growth journey in partnership with our global GEA Cluster companies, why we need a new manager/colleague, that together with our service team in Denmark, can develop our service project management and our global approach to spare part offerings, which form part of the 2nd level support delivered to GEA Cluster Companies worldwide. Join us to take ownership of global service projects and spare part offers delivered to customers worldwide as you work across a truly global matrix organization with strong collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities / Tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for securing professional and timely management of service projects within Drying & Formulation Technology, supporting customers across the globe. The position is part of an ongoing transition where GEA is strengthening its project management and execution capabilities—both in scope and complexity, and both locally and centrally—while also enhancing its global and commercial approach to spare parts offerings. Specifically, you will:

  • Lead the Service Project Management and 2nd level support team (Offer Handling & FSO), including prioritizing workload and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • Ensure end-to-end service project execution (both technical and commercial), delivering projects of varying size and scope worldwide within sales and cost budgets.
  • Drive clear communication and alignment with Service Sales, including handling non-standard spare part tickets in a timely manner to meet hit-rate and sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely across the service organization and with Supply Chain, Engineering, Automation, Cluster Companies, and Business Lines to ensure high-quality execution and timely delivery of FSO and spare part offers.
  • Monitor sales performance and hit rates, contribute to pricing strategies, and propose solutions that support profitable growth, and your part of the P&L.
  • Align with the Global Project Management pool and navigate the matrix organization to ensure strong collaboration, effective execution, and the best technical and commercial solutions.

GEA Group – Engineering for a better world

You will lead the Service Project Management and 2nd level support team consisting of 5 project managers and 7 sales technicians. The sales technicians support our local GEA companies with spare parts and 2nd Level technical support, while the project managers plan and execute service projects and participate in on-site project-related activities. Moreover, you will be working closely with colleagues across GEA's organization, and you will also engage with GEA Cluster Companies and Business Lines worldwide, ensuring alignment and high-quality execution across regions and functions.

Your Profile / Qualifications

We are looking for a new colleague who has a strong passion for the service business, has an easy approach to collaboration and is focused on delivering high value to customers. Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a master's or bachelor's in engineering.
  • Have some years of management experience, preferably from a service organization, leading and engaging well-performing teams.
  • Have experience and training in project management, providing you with a solid foundation and understanding.
  • Fluent in English.
