Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will have a central role in installing, commissioning, and maintaining GEA Separation & Flow Technology equipment. The role is mobile and involves travel throughout Norway.

Your main tasks will be:

• Installation, startup, and commissioning of separators, decanters, and homogenizers
• Preventive and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshooting and analysis of process plants
• Technical support to customers and colleagues
• Documentation of service assignments in accordance with GEA standards
• Advisory to customers on further measures
• Work in accordance with GEA and customer safety procedures

Your profile/qualifications:

• Technical vocational school in machinery or equivalent experience
• Experience with control systems, preferably Siemens S5/S7 and TIA Portal
• Experience from the food, production, or process industry
• Comfortable with using Office 365
• Driver’s license class B
• Good language skills in Norwegian and English – German is an advantage
• Experience with mechanical and electrical (de)mounting of technical installations
