Field Service Technician

The GEA CEE GmbH Croatia Branch office Zagreb, member of international GEA Group, is focused on sales, installation and maintenance of centrifuges (separators and decanters). To complement our team at the Zagreb location, we are looking for a full-time Field Service Technician immediately or by appointment.

Responsibilities / Tasks

Coordinate independently the assigned service interventions on site in a timely and qualitative manner
Installation & commissioning, validation, and calibration of new equipment
Creation of technical and daily service reports
Troubleshooting (remote, on site)
Preventive maintenance interventions and inspections, repairs, and relocation of equipment

Your Profile / Qualifications

Technical education
Fluent in English; other languages (e.g.: Serbian/Croatian) are a plus
Experience / strong interest in all machine building aspects: application knowledge, process engineering, electronics and controls, mechanical engineering
Proficiency in reading mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings
Automation and control system knowledge is advantageous (PLC troubleshooting, etc.)
Willingness to travel extensively in Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia
Enthusiastic, service-oriented, and flexible team player
