Account Manager Service

If you enjoy being on the move and working with beautiful products within Heating & Refrigeration, we are looking for an Account Manager Service for our Kontich location.
As an Account Manager Service at GEA, you will be the first point of contact for our customers within the Benelux region. You will manage all service activities for your customer portfolio and ensure that appointments are correctly executed and followed up. You will work closely with technical colleagues and suppliers to guarantee optimal service provision. You combine commercial flair with technical affinity and build long-lasting customer relationships. Additionally, you will identify new opportunities and convert them into sustainable service contracts. You will report to the Manager Service Branch.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Account Management & Sales
- Drafting account plans with clear objectives and forecasts.
- Actively managing new and existing customers in your region.
- Conducting advisory and sales conversations, including presentations and after-sales follow-up.
- Identifying new market and service opportunities within the GEA portfolio.
Service & Contract Management
- Drafting, monitoring, and following up on Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Coordinating contracts with internal teams and suppliers.
- Ensuring quality, lead times, and customer satisfaction.
Project Participation
- Initiating or participating in sales projects (3–7 persons).
- Realizing projects within planned budgets and deadlines.
Reporting & Administration
- Accurately recording customer information and activities in the systems.
- Analyzing results and reporting to management.
Your profile/qualifications:
- Technical training at a minimum level of secondary education (MBO level 4 equivalent).
- 3–5 years of experience in a service-oriented or maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of maintenance methodologies (e.g., TPM) is a plus.
- Strong communicative skills, both internally and externally.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and pursue results.
- Holder of VCA VOL (or willing to obtain it).
- Willing to travel regularly within Belgium and the Benelux.
- Flexible in working hours, depending on customer needs.
- You feel comfortable in a mobile role.
