As a Team Leader you will be responsible for managing various sections within the Service and Hose Channel in ensuring all Service needs of an organization are met by offering on time services and support. Contribution towards achieving the business plans of Service Channel including Hydraulics & Hose Workshop, Marine, Project, Chemical, Piping, Pneumatics and Workshop operations, maintaining the cost, quality and safety parameters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible to manage Hydraulics & Hose Workshops, Marine, Project, Chemical, Piping and Pneumatics sections of Service Channel.
• Manage and develop the Service & Workshop Team, overall responsible for field & workshop service team in achieving service scopes and objectives.
• Conduct regular meetings with the supervisors on day to day activities for planning and scheduling.
• Review and approve scope of work and costing sheet complied by the Supervisors.
• Job progress is closely monitored and measures are taken for shortcomings.
• Control & reduction of undesired expenses, ensure all projects are within the estimated costs while ensuring optimum customer satisfaction.
• Plan & manage human resources, plant equipments & other utilities, ensure optimum production/service capability.

Keys to Success

• Requires understanding and application of procedures and practices within own area and basic knowledge of other areas
• Understands how the team relates to other closely related teams to improve efficiency
• Extensive knowledge of Hydraulic Products and Services related to Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
• Knowledge of Application Engineering in Marine and Oil & Gas environment.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Engineering related products and applications.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals and documents.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• 7+ direct reports of technicians and/or production staff
• Has formal supervisory responsibilities; sets priorities for and coaches associates to meet deadlines
• Has performance management and people development responsibility for associates under their care
• Ability to plan, schedule and prioritize the activities.
• Ability to learn and lead the implementation of new applications and systems.
• Ability to resolve complex problems.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• 2-4 years of experience
