Provide engineering support and training to internal and external customers in the proper application and selection of belt drive systems.
Proficient in relevant design software and practices.
Support projects or longer term activities by participating as assigned and under a senior engineer's direction.
Perform mechanical design of sprocket and drive system components using CAD.
Manage and/or participate in technical projects or longer term department activities as assigned and with minimal senior engineer direction.
Act as self-managed Project Manager and successfully lead technical projects or longer term activities as assigned in an independent manner with minimal supervision.
Explains complex, difficult and/or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
Capable of troubleshooting applications with customers, on site as needed. May require domestic and international travel for customer support.
Passion and familiarity with bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, ATV and snowmobiles.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail, particularly in the preparation of presentations, technical literature and design manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize resources and project timelines.
5-7 years of experience.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with basic competence in CAD such as Solid Works.
