Trade Marketing, Digital And Operations
This role covers all Galderma North West Africa (NWA) geography, with a specific focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. Projects may be led for the whole cluster (Maghreb & sub-Saharan Africa (SSA)).
Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing marketing strategies that drive product demand at the retail/HCP level.
- Setting up ecommerce channels for consumer products in key cluster markets.
Manage Channel Partnerships:
- Develop collaborative strategies with partners to effectively promote products and services to customers.
Ensure Implementation of Point-of-Sale (POS) Activities:
- Oversee the execution of agreed POS activities according to Galderma Global guidelines.
- Monitor POS initiatives to track effectiveness and adjustments in collaboration with Galderma distributors as necessary to optimize results.
- Work closely with Galderma Global and Region e-commerce and digital teams to integrate channel partnership strategies with e-retailers or other POS.
- Coordinate efforts with Cluster Team to ensure synergy and alignment of objectives across the organization.
Organize Trade Promotional Activities:
- Create, adapt and implement comprehensive trade marketing strategies that align with the company's overall marketing goals.
- Design and execute promotional campaigns, including in-store displays, product sampling, and point-of-sale materials to drive product visibility.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities to inform trade marketing decisions.
- Work closely with sales distributor teams to develop tailored strategies for specific retailers and channels.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, using metrics to assess performance and make data-driven adjustments.
- Tracking of Promotional Spend vs allocated budgets.
Organize Marketing Activities for Aesthetics and Prescription Businesses:
- Share and drive adoption of Galderma approved marketing material.
- Oversee the implementation of medical education workshops & related events (roundtables, symposiums).
Digital Marketing Strategy:
- Create and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Plan, launch, and manage digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns using analytics tools and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of digital content, ensuring it aligns with the brand's voice and objectives.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and implement innovative strategies to keep the company ahead of the competition.
Other Tasks:
- Handle cluster procurement activities.
- Handle other tasks as required by Management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master's degree in marketing, Digital Media and Communication.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in trade & digital marketing and e-commerce with a strong track record of successful campaign management and performance analysis.
- Proven success track record in sub-Saharan Africa.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Strong ability to analyze market data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and retail environments.
- Strong Collaboration and team spirit skills.
- Fluency in English, French. Arabic is a plus.
