GAF Energy Supervisor For Interconnection Team
GAF Energy is seeking a Supervisor for the Interconnection Team to own and drive the interconnection and incentives processes for solar roof and BESS projects. This exciting role will report to the Director of Design and Customer Operations and will lead and supervise a team focused on initial application to final grid connection for residential, multi-family, and small commercial applications. The Interconnection Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating team schedules, resources, and equipment, as well as developing workflow and process improvements. You will review and maintain accurate metrics, ensuring that projects are completed on time, delivered effectively, and meet high-quality standards.
Essential Duties:
- Ensure the Interconnection Team is submitting accurate and timely applications to utilities and incentives program administrators.
- Ensure and contribute to the daily updates and project status management within our CRM system.
- Create, maintain, and advise on any system reporting requirements for KPIs and process improvements.
- Ensure and contribute to proactive phone and email communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely acquisition of necessary documentation and a clear understanding and communication of requirements.
- Develop and build process enhancements, such as incentive database, software usage optimization, process automation, application templates design, critical reports generation, and summarizing information for other departments.
- Analyze, document, and maintain interconnection and incentive requirements and processes for various municipalities, states, and utilities within our systems.
- Drive and ensure our partners and customers are receiving high-quality service.
- Work across teams to develop and implement new hire training and new process implementation training.
- Assign tasks to internal teams, assist with schedule management, and oversee team priorities and workload for Interconnection team members.
- Provide supplemental training and professional development for your direct reports.
- Monitor project progress, address any issues that arise, communicate status to all stakeholders, and work directly with Customer Operations team members to resolve blockers.

Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 3-5 years prior experience in utility, interconnection, and incentives application work, or similar.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, especially high-performing organizations.
- Business analytics experience is a plus.
- Strong and consistent communicator, upwards and downwards. Effective listener.
- Excellent coordination and planning skills.
- Ability to understand stakeholders, align with process changes, and eliminate roadblocks.
- Maintain high energy and a high sense of urgency. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet.
- Clear and effective communicator in verbal, written, and presentation formats.

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications. Base Salary Range: $72,000-$92,000
