Cloud & Network Security Engineer
The Cloud & Network Security Engineer will be responsible for securing the organization's Azure cloud environment and onsite network infrastructure. The role focuses on threat protection, firewall security, compliance alignment, and ensuring a stable and secure hybrid network ecosystem.
Key Skills & Expertise:
- Experience with Azure Defender for Cloud, Sentinel (SIEM), and Key Vault
- Identity and access security including Conditional Access, PIM, MFA, and RBAC
- Threat detection, incident response, and log analytics monitoring
Perimeter Security & Firewalls:
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls (VPNs, IPS/IDS, routing, security policies)
- Web Application Firewall (WAF) setup and optimization
- Secure remote access, segmentation, and network protection strategies
Onsite Network Management (UniFi / Ubiquiti):
- Administration of UniFi controllers, switches, gateways, and access points
- LAN and Wi-Fi deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Security configurations including VLANs, guest networks, and access controls
Governance & Compliance:
- Development and enforcement of security baselines and policies
- Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability management activities.
Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience in cloud security, network security, and hybrid infrastructure
- Strong background with FortiGate and UniFi/Ubiquiti networking environments
- Experience supporting enterprise-grade environments with security focus
