We are looking for Manufacturing Experts to join our newly established Operations Support Team in Drug Substance Manufacturing (DSM). The team is covering support to all operations - from thaw to bulk of the final drug substance.

This role is central to ensuring smooth day-to-day production, by providing timely support, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination across a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

As a Manufacturing Expert, you will work closely with the Manufacturing shop floor and stakeholders across the site to keep operations stable and aligned to department goals. You will contribute directly to production robustness by driving adherence to plans, supporting issue resolution, and ensuring quality and compliance through effective data handling.

The role is a perfect fit for you, if you can handle shifting priorities with ease and see changes as an opportunity rather than a challenge. The tasks might shift with production demands, to ensure the most urgent issues are solved first.

Key Responsibilities (Not Limited To)

• Act as first-line support for daily production challenges, ensuring swift and effective containment and resolution.
• Collaborate with production teams to maintain operational continuity across 24/7 manufacturing.
• Monitor adherence to production plans and contribute to understanding process delays and what improvements can be made to mitigate them.
• Support the deviation flow by ensuring that deviations within the value stream are handled fast and effectively and that correct countermeasures are taken.
• Escalate complex issues to the Operations Support Leader and relevant stakeholders when needed.

• Contribute to the development and use of live data dashboards ("Control Tower").
• Analyze trends and deviations in daily operations, supporting root cause investigations.
• Share insights and propose improvements to strengthen Quality, Robustness and efficiency.

Qualifications

• A background in production, manufacturing support, or a related technical area (pharma experience is an advantage).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act quickly under pressure.
• Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and shifts.
• An analytical mindset and comfort working with data to support decisions.
• Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements is a plus.

The Team You will be part of a newly formed Operations Support Team. Together, we act as the backbone of Drug Substance Manufacturing Operations, ensuring robustness and compliance across three value streams. You will report to the Operations Support Leader while working closely with shift-based Production Leaders and other stakeholders across DSM.
