The Global Network Team manages and supports the Fugro Global Network. All Fugro offices, vessels, and remote operations are fully dependent on the network and connectivity. Services in the network are: WAN, Wifi, LAN, Remote access.
The Network Engineer delivers the necessary IT technical and functional expertise to manage, support, and improve all components of the network services, together with local IT teams and vessel IT teams (OTS). These services are supported 24/7 by Global Network Team members of all regions, but also by standby services during weekends and nights.
The Network Engineer:
Is part of global network team to support all networks globally Follows the Fugro Standard Operating Procedures with regards to incident, problem and change management. Education: Bachelor, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Working experience: 3-8 years, Experience working in networking infrastructure support. A good understanding network technology.
License/certification/qualification
Juniper and Cisco Certification at CCNA level or equivalent. Or willingness to certify within a short period.

Part of onboarding will be a 1 month training in the Netherlands.
