Fuel Cycle is building AI-native internal operations powered by rapid, modular, goal-driven agent workflows. The AI Operations Associate invents, prototypes, and deploys systems that automate end-to-end business processes—from onboarding and finance ops to customer support and research delivery.
Acting as the bridge between Product, Engineering, Finance, and customer-facing teams, you'll transform manual workflows into intelligent, autonomous solutions that measurably improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer value.
Map legacy departmental processes, deconstruct them into modular tasks, and redesign them as AI-native workflows.
Document existing workflows and identify bottlenecks
Break down complex processes into discrete, automatable components
Architect multi-agent systems that route tasks, share memory, and increase in quality over time.
Design agent interaction patterns and communication protocols
Implement hierarchical agent structures for complex tasks
Develop monitoring systems to detect performance degradation
Drive continuous improvement of existing workflows and AI culture, eliminating hand-offs and human intervention.
Develop reusable libraries, SOPs, and templates to accelerate internal deployment and nurture a culture of agent-first operations.
Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and champion an "agent-first" culture.
Develop and manage BI dashboards (Power BI, QuickSight) to track adoption, time saved, error reduction, and ROI.
Create visualizations for key performance indicators
Set up automated reporting for stakeholders
Partner with Product, Research, CX, Finance, and People Ops to surface high-impact use-cases and drive adoption.
Conduct regular discovery sessions with departments
Prioritize opportunities based on effort/impact analysis

Strong systems-thinking; can deconstruct processes into automatable tasks.
Comfortable with Python and demonstrative experience automating workflows.
Working knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, and context engineering.
Experience with BI/analytics platforms (Power BI, QuickSight).
Comfortable with low/no-code orchestration tools.
Data-driven problem-solver who communicates crisply across functions.
Outcome-focused, adaptable, and energized by rapid prototyping.
1–3 years in product operations, automation engineering, or AI-enabled operations.
Demonstrated success automating workflows and deploying internal AI tools.
Experience instrumenting and interpreting operational KPIs.
Strong organizational skills; able to juggle multiple concurrent projects.

The expected starting salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. This range represents the typical starting compensation offered to candidates hired into this role. Final base salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education, and certifications.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a 4% discretionary (or OTE) bonus compensation , and may include an equity grant or purchase option . These components make up your total compensation package , which will be reviewed in greater detail during your initial recruiter conversation.
