Our client located in Dallas, TX is looking to hire an IT Support Specialist for an onsite contract opportunity. This is a one year plus contract with possible overtime.
Technology IT Services
IT Support Specialist Role:
Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, phones, and printers for new and existing team members.
Respond to incoming service requests through our ticketing platform, ensuring timely and thorough resolution.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, MacOS, and mobile environments.
Support video conferencing, telephony, and collaboration tools in conference rooms.
Provide guidance and training to end users on proper use of equipment and software.
Document processes, system configurations, and solutions for future reference.
Assist with IT initiatives such as system upgrades, software rollouts, and process improvements.
Monitor and manage local hardware inventory, including equipment shipping when needed.
Maintain user accounts and access in Active Directory and related systems.
IT Support Specialist Background Profile:
Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, with hands-on experience in Office 365 and Active Directory (preferred).
Familiarity with mobile device support, printing solutions, and cross-platform environments (Windows and MacOS).
Experience supporting executives or VIP-level users is a plus.
Knowledge of collaboration and communication platforms such as RingCentral, TalkDesk, or Cisco (preferred).
Exposure to Microsoft Intune and Azure Autopilot (preferred).
A proactive, customer-focused mindset with the patience to see issues through from start to finish.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to adapt quickly and contribute to team projects involving new technology implementations.
