About the Role:
As the Dining Services Director, you'll oversee all aspects of food service operations within our facility. From menu planning to quality control, you'll ensure residents receive nutritious, appealing meals in a safe, efficient, and budget-conscious environment. You'll also lead and support a dedicated Dining Services team, fostering a positive dining experience for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily food preparation and meal service according to planned menus
- Supervise, train, and manage Dietary Aides and Cooks
- Recruit, onboard, and retain dining staff to minimize turnover
- Monitor and respond to residents' nutritional needs and physician-ordered diets
- Order food, supplies, and equipment; inspect deliveries for quality, accuracy, and pricing
- Ensure compliance with dietary regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate in patient care meetings, contributing nutritional insights
- Maintain accurate and timely nutrition documentation
- Adapt menus to meet the diverse dietary needs of residents across skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and independent living
- Implement systems to support regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes
- Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with residents

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or willingness to obtain
- ServSafe Certification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant food service management experience
