Localization

The internship is based at the Groupe Bel's world headquarters in Suresnes, with the possibility of remote work (2/3 days per week).

Your missions

Within the Data & Analytics team, you will work in a rich technological environment articulated around the GCP (Google Cloud Platform) solution.

You contribute to the construction of the BEL data assets as well as the implementation of use cases responding to the needs of our different businesses (Manufacturing, Supply, Marketing, RID…).

You also work on projects of convergence of legacy data systems towards GCP and thus play an active role in the implementation of the group's data strategy.

• Design and development of data loading and transformation pipelines on GCP via the DBT tool.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of data throughout the development cycle.
• Manage issues related to existing and to be designed data flows.
• Supervision and management of incidents.
• Apply the best practices of development and deployment of the Data Engineers team (Security, CI/CD…).
• Collaborate with other data team members (data governance, data scientists, product owner) in the definition and creation of core products and business use cases.
• Participate in the cross-validation of PullRequests between Data Engineers.
• Technological vigilance and sharing with the team during dedicated points.

Profile sought

• Student in Bac +5, specialization in Data Engineering or Computer Science.
• Understanding of data processing and architecture concepts.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery, and other GCP services.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, SQL).
• Knowledge of GitLab.
• Knowledge of the DBT tool is a plus.
