The Position

We are looking for an entry-level Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role will assist in all disciplines of HR in a clerical role and project/research-based work. The ideal candidate must be hard working, enthusiastic, detail oriented, efficient, and business minded. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all new hire onboarding activities. Including, but not limited to, creating, and distributing new hire schedules, assigning required trainings, and ensuring timely completion. Coordinating with System Operations team to ensure workstations and equipment are properly set up.
  • Manage the post hire onboarding experience assuring that new hires have the systems access, are aware of organizational benefits and have completed applicable onboarding tasks.
  • Ensure all necessary information and paperwork is documented and stored appropriately and accurately in the HRIS and Recruiting & Onboarding management systems.
  • Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, coordinates the clerical and administrative function of the Human Resources Department to ensure efficient operation and timely response to employees and manager inquires.
  • Providing clerical support for the HR Department, including but not limited to document filing, performance review administration, and updating employee records.
  • Maintain confidential Human Resource records and information.
  • Supporting clerical role in various HR Audits.
  • Provide administrative support for specific recruitment projects with Recruitment.

Requirements

  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude. 1-2 years experience in HR role not required, but a huge plus!
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Must be organized, accurate and thorough
  • Must exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
  • Ability to learn and take initiative to complete a project with pride and precision.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and analytical mindset
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint a plus.
