Operate semi-automatic machines for the manufacturing of products, including vulcanization, assembly, or finishing of parts, under the supervision of the Leader. Use bi-manual or digital controls to inject rubber into molds, producing parts and adhering metal to rubber in line with required quality and productivity standards.
Start production by reviewing the operation history, filling out and consulting the Control Plan and Process Sheet, and recording data in the RAC (Self-Control Record) with machine data, part specifications, and employee information, following internal standards.
Extract a sample from the first production cycle to ensure the part meets pre-established quality standards and complies with the company's requirements.
Remove excess rubber from vulcanized parts using tools for deburring, then place the finished parts into appropriate containers.
Assist with inventory tasks by counting finished parts in the sector as instructed by the supervisor.
Participate in activities that support quality objectives, with initiatives to improve work processes, service to internal and external customers, and contribute to the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System processes.
Perform other related duties as required within the work area or as directed by the immediate supervisor.
