Responsibilities
Manage production operations from Desma Moulding Machines, calibration, assembly operations, GM, Ford Orion, Air Spring cells.
In process rejection review, daily meeting with operators, jumpers, shift supervisors to take corrective and preventive actions to further reduce it (to achieve company target of 0.5%).
Accidents and unsafe conditions identification and taking corrective/preventive actions for the same.
Layout changes, customized improvements in tools, moulds for smooth introduction of parts in production.
Identify potential kaizens, SGIA, improvements, guiding and motivating teams to achieve the same.
Authority to stop shipment and stop production to correct quality problem.
To maintain optimized inprocess inventory of moulded parts, WIP, child parts for assembly operations and cost reduction on shop floor.
To maintain good housekeeping, creation of different zones in production department for visible 5-S on shop floor.
Imparting continuous on job training.
Qualifications
B.E. (Mechanical)
5 to 7 years experience
