Maintenance engineering plays a vital role in the efficiency, development, and progress of manufacturing. The work involves practical, hands-on engineering, problem-solving, and supervising technical staff:
Designing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods for maintenance.
Planning and scheduling planned and unplanned work.
Diagnosing breakdown problems.
Directing, instructing, and supervising maintenance technicians.
Liaising with other departments as production, quality, engineering.
Arranging procurement of spare parts and services.
Define and control KPI (breakdowns/maintenance costs).
Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
Writing maintenance guidelines or procedures for maintenance.
Improving maintenance technicians qualification.
Create spare parts list. Set up and maintain the spare part warehouse.
Qualifications:
Mechanical engineering, electrical or electronic engineering
