Responsibilities

  1. User Support- Utilize eHelp to field, record and document problem resolutions for end users. Recognize their needs, provide solutions related to the use of desktop software, hardware and common systems. Train users in efficient use of software and systems.
  2. Business Analysis- Participate in the business planning process and align the IT functions to meet the business needs.
  3. Software Design, Development and Implementation- Facilitate the design, development, automated installation, implementation and effective utilization of new software according to the agreed upon systems and architecture and infrastructure.
  4. IT Organization support- Communicate with and support activities of the fellow IT staffs in Telecom & Infrastructure - Enterprise Applications - ERP and PMO groups. Participate in SME group activities.
  5. Training- Train users to use appropriate tools, services and to be self-sufficient. Train IT professionals for improving the tools and services. Train the business professionals for employing the analysis tools to generate information.
  6. Administration- Coordinate internal and external technical resources to provide maintenance and support of installed I.T. infrastructure. Review proposed purchases for justification and adherence to standards.
  7. Hardware- Help plan and manage the procurement, maintenance and disposition of obsolete computer equipment. Accurately record and track current IT assets in sites.
  8. Phone Systems- Provide local support for the Telecommunications Strategy.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in related field (preferred)
  • 0-2 + years experience in similar role or IT experience
  • Able to speak/write in English language (multi-lingual preferred)
  • Understanding fundamental networking concepts, Microsoft Office Suite & Operating systems (Windows and Server (AD, EntraID, InTune))
  • Understanding of basic computing hardware; desktop, laptop PC's, printers.
  • Understanding of basic Information/Cyber Security practices
  • Strong sense of customer service/orientation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to explain technical topics in layman terms
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organization and planning skills to effectively prioritize and execute work
  • Effectively work as individual and/or with others to solve problems
  • Self-motivated and proactive to perform work and continue learning
