Understands the functional principle of company products and the company portfolio and their functional principle; selecting suitable material combination for different standard applications.

Conducts basic technical customer discussions for existing standard products.

Takes over incoming RFQ and orders as instructed by local entities & SSC management.

Performs full customer interaction (both written and phone) in respect to quotes, sales order confirmation, delays, order status etc.

Processes standard and mid-complex quotes according to guidelines & rules and in close collaboration with the local entity.

Supports with registering and maintenance of CRM data (sales opportunities).

Registers incoming standard and mid-complex orders according to guidelines & rules.

Performs quote follow up, standard sales quote & order pricing.

Has basic knowledge regarding transfer prices, profit margins, product cost and market relationship ("feel the market"; similar price levels for customer from same industry or branch etc.).

Registers tickets for different presales or sales related subprocesses (creation of customer accounts, new materials etc.).

Registers and sends out purchase orders to suppliers.

Updates delivery time and follows up with suppliers, local entity partners and customers if instructed or needed.

Offers basic administrative support for claims and registers these in the system as per defined rules & guideline.

Supports the local entity with other basic presales and sales tasks.

Resolves open sales quotes and orders related issues with the local entity.

Reviews supplier invoices, validating final data and saves customer invoices.

Acts as back-up for colleagues who are on leave, as per the internal regulations.

Trains and guides new joiners.

Provides support to other colleagues and team members, when they require help to fulfil their daily activities.

Provides support to the extended team, as and when it is the case.

Provides ad hoc support for projects, initiatives.

Shows ability to prioritize tasks and manage own time schedule to meet the established deadlines.

Economic/Technical studies are an advantage.

Previous experience in Customer Service and/or Sales-related fields.

Advanced French and English language skills.

Computer skills related to Microsoft Office; mid-level Excel knowledge.

SAP Knowledge or different ERP experience is mandatory.

Open to process improvements.

Fact-driven and strong analytical skills, detail-oriented attitude.

Motivation and open communication style.

Attention to detail.

Good organizational skills and proactiveness.

Team player.
