Responsibilities
- Visiting and managing existing key accounts throughout Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona
- Developing new customer targets in the territory to achieve annual growth goals
- Traveling throughout the region, with about 5-10 days of overnight travel per month
- Working with Market Managers to develop strategies towards key industries
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a customer facing role – direct technical sales or application engineering
- A knack for problem solving
- Experience in lubricants, chemicals, mechanical equipment sales, or key account development – a plus
- Knowledge of oil and grease for machinery – a plus
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to understand technical concepts and negotiate effectively
- Open-minded towards unique solutions and not afraid to walk in a new door or develop brand new relationships
