To support the Public Sector Account Executive by managing and administering a portfolio of clients in relation to relationship sales, service, governance, credit facilities, and tenders.

Are you someone who can:

• Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
• Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in the area of expertise
• Participate in planned activities, that are appropriate for own and employee development
• Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes
• Ensure expired limits are attended to and credit proposals reviewed
• Negotiate and provide appropriate solutions through deal structuring for low to medium complex clients
• Manage existing portfolio and acquire new client accounts to drive business growth and sales
• Define a sales and portfolio strategy to achieve relevant sales targets
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation
• Focus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations. Identify and utilize opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets
• Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• Have a relevant postgraduate qualification
• Have 5 years relevant experience with at least 2 to 3 years judgmental credit, portfolio management, and relationship management (external and internal stakeholders) experience
• Have RE5 - fit and proper as this role is a FAIS affected role
• Have in-depth understanding of government operations and the legislative framework within which they operate
• Understand the various industry dynamics which impact on the business including a researched understanding of the public sector trends
• Understand how the banking system operates
• Must reside in the North-West and work in the (Klerksdorp FNB Commercial Hub OR Mega City Branch in Mahikeng) area.
