The successful incumbent will be responsible for monitoring the daily loan fulfillment operations to ensure correct limit marking of facilities, including pay out and loan accounts maintenance in line with set procedures to minimize credit losses. To ensure accurate pay-out of client loans and their reconciliations in a timely manner which includes execution/actioning of daily reports.
• To monitor and take corrective actions to prevent credit operational loss from errors in processing pay-out of facilities. • Manage given target and budget goals to ensure effective control of costs. • To adhere to agreed turnaround times as prescribed in SLAs for disbursements of funds towards client satisfaction and un-matched service delivery. • Manage proper and direct payments to avoid financial loss • Engaging stakeholders to obtain and provide a forum to address service issues and resolve queries within agreed turnaround times • Comprehensive understanding of the economic environment, business risks and financial reports with the ability to relate such issues to specific business opportunities and the risk profile of individual clients. • To ensure adherence to set processes and procedures in all operational activities towards operational efficiency and to achieve acceptable Credit audit ratings. • Prepare approved loans for payment, reviewing details of applications and ensuring accuracy before loading them into online Banking Platform • Daily preparation and actioning of reports • Tracks and resolves all customer queries efficiently and escalate where necessary within agreed timelines • To ensure all terms and conditions have been fulfilled/complied with prior to disbursement of funds and Hogan ACRM are updated regularly. • Processing and paying out through online authorized platforms and ensure entries are duly signed by authorized signatories within set timeframes. • To ensure compliance to terms and conditions set to minimize risk and any deviations to be escalated through the governance structures (KRI) • To ensure online payments are processed timely and correctly, to reduce error rate and losses • To check for quality of deals to minimize claims against incidents of negligence • To ensure closure of audit findings within agreed time frame.
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related. • At least 1-2 years related experience.
