Global Trade Services (GTS), part of the Investment Operations WAM Group, oversees settlement risk across fixed income, equity, and cash products. The team supports trading desks and core operations, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and seamless trade lifecycle execution. GTS works collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to maintain high service standards and drive process improvements.

How You Will Add Value?

Core Responsibilities:

  • You will supervise daily operations and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • You will monitor staff performance and provide timely feedback.
  • You will ensure accurate and timely completion of daily tasks.
  • You will maintain and improve departmental procedures.
  • You will recruit, train, and develop team members.
  • You will resolve operational issues and escalate when needed.
  • You will ensure consistent service delivery to internal clients.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • You will represent GTS in company-wide and client-facing initiatives.
  • You will evaluate and implement new procedures across GTS sites.
  • You will identify workflow gaps and lead corrective actions.
  • You will maintain communication with business partners and clients.
  • You will lead department initiatives and document new processes.
  • You will develop and track KPIs.
  • You will manage transitions and change effectively.

Team & Collaboration:

  • You will supervise staff and make hiring and performance decisions.
  • You will provide technical guidance across FTS departments.
  • You will write performance reviews and support staff development.
  • You will build strong relationships with clients and business partners.
  • You will identify future service needs and industry trends.
  • You will ensure quality communication standards.
  • You will lead conflict resolution and decision-making efforts.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role?

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • 7+ years in securities or financial services operations.
  • 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Recognized industry certification.
  • MBA or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
  • Background in business analysis or IT.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in physical and private credit deals.
  • Strong knowledge of global and emerging markets.
  • Familiarity with TMPG, CSDR, and fail charges.
  • Experience with Omgeo CTM, Alert, and TradeSuite.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and industry software.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and resolve complex issues.
  • Customer-focused with excellent relationship management.
  • Effective under pressure with strong decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.

Work Shift Timings - 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST
