The role will be specifically for Western Asset, a globally integrated fixed income manager who is a subsidiary of Franklin Templeton. We are looking for a Senior Analyst for the Global Trade Services (GTS) team.

Global Trade Services (GTS), part of the Investment Operations WAM Group, plays a vital role in minimizing settlement risks across fixed income and equity products. The team collaborates with brokers, custodians, and internal departments to ensure smooth trade execution and compliance with global regulations. Working in GTS offers exposure to high-impact financial operations, cross-functional teamwork, and opportunities to lead process improvements.

How You Will Add Value?

Core Responsibilities:

  • You will resolve failed fixed income settlements and analyze root causes.
  • You will collaborate with internal and external teams to prevent recurring trade issues.
  • You will maintain broker and custodian contact lists.
  • You will ensure trade confirmation and settlement in US and global markets.
  • You will manage failing trades and mitigate TMPG, CSDR, and local market charges.
  • You will use Omgeo CTM, Alert, TradeSuite, and FailStation platforms.
  • You will oversee post-settlement SPO activities and monthly TMPG settlements.
  • You will suggest controls to improve trade accuracy and compliance.
  • You will review and update policies and procedures.
  • You will support audit compliance and escalate issues promptly.
  • You will report trends and root causes to management.
  • You will lead and support departmental projects and system testing.
  • You will recommend workflow improvements and drive risk reduction.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role?

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • Master's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Graduate-level coursework in finance or business.
  • 3–4 years of experience in the investment industry.
  • Professional certifications in finance, accounting, or management.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of equity and fixed income products.
  • Understanding of clearing house settlement processes.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Soft Skills:

  • Analytical and organizational strength.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Work Shift Timings - 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST / 8:30 PM – 5:30 AM IST (Flexible required)
