As part of our continued pursuit of growth and innovation in the asset management business, we are seeking an Operations Senior Manager or Manager (depending on experience) to strengthen our core operations team.
Franklin Templeton manages a broad range of asset classes, including traditional investments as well as alternative assets such as hedge funds and illiquid investments. This role offers the opportunity to engage in both global initiatives and internal strategic projects, contributing to the evolution of our operational capabilities.
Through process analysis and improvement, you will play a key role in building a highly efficient and accurate operations framework—helping drive the company's growth from the inside out.
Leading New Initiatives
Drive the planning and implementation of new operational projects related to a diverse range of products, including domestic investment trusts, discretionary investment accounts, and SLA accounts.
Operational Process Improvement
Identify challenges within existing workflows and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality through structured project planning and execution.
Cross-functional and External Collaboration
Coordinate and negotiate with internal departments and external partners, including sub-advisors, to ensure smooth operations and effective support during new fund launches or process changes.
Regulatory Compliance and Account Management
Manage tasks related to the introduction of new products, account openings and closures, and respond flexibly to regulatory changes and evolving market conditions.
This position goes beyond traditional operations management—it plays a strategic role that directly influences the broader business. By leading process improvements and driving new initiatives, you will contribute meaningfully to the organization's growth and transformation.

5+ years of operational background and experience in asset management firms or trust banks.
Strong knowledge in regulations and business procedures for separate accounts (Toshikomon) and Japan domiciled mutual funds.
Strong knowledge of securities and regulations.
Knowledge of products including derivatives and alternatives a plus.
Core Competencies:
Demonstrated logical thinking, strong communication skills, and effective negotiation abilities.
A proactive self-starter who can think and act logically. Able to operate effectively on both global and local levels, with a flexible and adaptive mindset.
Advanced level of Word/Excel/Power Point to analyze and create proposal materials.
Business-level English, with the ability to participate actively in conference calls (speaking and listening).
