What you can expect:
- Strategic Leadership β Align oncology services with hospital priorities by developing and executing strategic and operational plans for growth and performance improvement.
- Budget Oversight β Manage departmental budgets, approve expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
- Team Leadership β Oversee staffing, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and recruitment for multiple departments.
- Performance Management β Guide and develop managers and staff to foster a high-performing, engaged team.
- Program Development β Lead the advancement of oncology services, ensuring coordination across departments and alignment with organizational goals.
- Regulatory Compliance β Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards.
- Process Improvement β Participate in key medical staff meetings and committees and recommend actions to enhance care delivery.
- Physician Collaboration β Build strong partnerships with physicians to support seamless, patient-centered care.
- Physician Recruitment β Support recruitment efforts for oncology specialists as needed.
- Community Engagement β Represent the organization through involvement in professional and community associations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related - Required
- Master's Degree in Healthcare Business Administration, or related - Preferred
- 5 years Healthcare Administration - Required
- 5 years Oncology experience - Required
Travel is required: Up to 20%
