What you can expect:

  • Strategic Leadership – Align oncology services with hospital priorities by developing and executing strategic and operational plans for growth and performance improvement.
  • Budget Oversight – Manage departmental budgets, approve expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Team Leadership – Oversee staffing, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and recruitment for multiple departments.
  • Performance Management – Guide and develop managers and staff to foster a high-performing, engaged team.
  • Program Development – Lead the advancement of oncology services, ensuring coordination across departments and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards.
  • Process Improvement – Participate in key medical staff meetings and committees and recommend actions to enhance care delivery.
  • Physician Collaboration – Build strong partnerships with physicians to support seamless, patient-centered care.
  • Physician Recruitment – Support recruitment efforts for oncology specialists as needed.
  • Community Engagement – Represent the organization through involvement in professional and community associations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related - Required
  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Business Administration, or related - Preferred
  • 5 years Healthcare Administration - Required
  • 5 years Oncology experience - Required

Travel is required: Up to 20%
