- As a Software Engineer & Squad Leader, you will be responsible for guiding a product team through the entire product cycle, from planning to maintenance.
- You will work on the Fountain Worker Experience team, focusing on creating a seamless applicant experience for high volume hiring.
- Your role includes designing, developing, testing, and maintaining product features, as well as enhancing core stack technologies and architecture.
- You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other software engineers to ensure the product's success.
- You will be expected to lead, train, and coach your team members, fostering their professional growth.
- The role involves implementing and maintaining the stack using best practices within the current pragmatic boundaries.
- You will provide clear reports on product scope, planning, and team members to your superiors.

- You will be working remotely from the US or Canada in the Eastern time zone, contributing to a rapidly growing and agile team.

- You should have at least 8 years of experience in software engineering, demonstrating your expertise and ability to lead in a high-tech environment.
- Your background should include a strong technical foundation in backend development, data structures, and architecture.
- You are expected to have leadership skills, capable of guiding and coaching a small team of developers.
- Experience with rich enterprise products is crucial, as you will be working on complex software solutions.
- You should be comfortable with product-led growth approaches and agile methodologies.
- Being able to work independently and make decisions in dynamic situations is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in English are required, and proficiency in French is highly regarded.
- You should be open to collaborating with a globally distributed team across various time zones and cultures.
