Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Prior work as a medical patient service representative a plus however, not mandatory
• Tactful and diplomatic interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally resolve conflict
• Adaptability to changing environments as assistance in other offices may be required
• Ability to work effectively and thrive in a team-based setting

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in and check-out patients
• Confirm registration, insurance and updating patient information in the electronic medical record as appropriate
• Help coordinate care in terms of responding to patient calls, scheduling appointments, and communicating with other offices as needed
• Make meaningful connections and make a difference to the people in our community!

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in public contact job, preferably in healthcare setting
• One year's experience in medical practice or healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office workflow
• Working knowledge of Epic EMR system and common Windows software applications

Work Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
