2. Lead leaders, not tasks: Build and grow a strong leadership bench—hiring, coaching, and inspiring managers and principals to deliver their best.
3. Drive delivery & governance: Oversee portfolio governance, ensuring smooth planning, execution, and accountability across teams.
4. Shape technology direction: Define architectural principles and a 12–24 month platform roadmap that balances innovation, reliability, scalability, and risk.
5. Champion quality & compliance: Set engineering standards, enforce secure-by-design policies, and ensure audit readiness, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
6. Embrace AI-first engineering: Institutionalize AI-assisted practices, ensuring adoption is ethical, compliant, and productivity-driven.
7. Be the voice of engineering: Represent the function in executive forums, customer conversations, and strategic vendor relationships.
8. Steward financials: Lead engineering budget planning, cloud cost efficiency, and ROI measurement for platform and tooling investments.

You're an inspiring technology leader with a proven record of scaling engineering organizations in SaaS. You bring:

• 10+ years in senior engineering leadership
• Proven success scaling teams in SaaS / remote-first environments
• Strong architectural & investment decision-making skills
• Secure-by-design & compliance literacy
• Experience driving AI-augmented engineering adoption
