Project Engineer/Scrum Master

We are seeking a Project Engineer with Agile/Scrum expertise to serve as a Scrum Master for Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads supporting a military aircraft program. This role combines technical project engineering responsibilities with Agile leadership to drive planning, coordination, and execution across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Scrum Master for IPT Leads, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
  • Support planning and scheduling activities for radio communications, displays, and human factors on the platform.
  • Lead sprint planning, sprint kickoffs, and backlog refinement sessions.
  • Manage Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and assist with timeline/cost projections using Earned Value Management System.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on deliverables, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for Agile tracking; Jira/Confluence acceptable alternatives.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain transparency on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience applying Agile/Scrum methodologies in complex engineering environments.
  • Strong background in project engineering, ideally within Aerospace/Defense programs.
  • Familiarity with cost and schedule management systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • Experience with Primavera P6 for IMS scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps; Jira/Confluence experience acceptable.
  • Knowledge of radio communications systems, displays, and human factors for rotorcraft or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Work Environment:

This position requires onsite work at a facility located in Fort Worth. The workplace involves a collaborative environment utilizing technologies such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence for project tracking and Agile management.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
