Operations Engineer Staff

Join the Enterprise Demand Supply Control (EDSC) organization as a Demand Controller (DC). Your responsibilities will include performing demand simulations for major schedule changes that compare potential demand profiles to current and forecasted demand, supply, capacity, and lead times to provide an assessment of the supportability of the proposed change. You will be analyzing, simulating, and modeling data for multiple programs (F-35, IFG, AMMM) at any given time. These simulations are completed utilizing our SAP and Rapid Response systems and supplemented by Tableau and Business Object data report inputs as needed. After analysis is complete, you must be able to successfully summarize and communicate your findings to customers to support effective business decisions and engage in proactive problem solving.

Basic Qualifications

* Understanding of Demand/Supply relationship

* Understanding of MRP Planning

* Working knowledge of Purchasing, Sustainment, or Manufacturing environments

* Strong communication skills

Desired Skills

* Ability to analyze/interpret data and translate into a meaningful data set for customers

* Proficient in SAP

* Ability to analyze Demand and Supply Line of Balance

* Working knowledge of MRP Processes

* Kinaxis RapidResponse Experience

* Proficient in Microsoft Tool Suite

* Proven ability to effectively organize and articulate information throughout all levels of the organization

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
