This position is for an F-22 Modification Retrofit Engineer (MRE) supporting Modification Upgrades and Overhaul's (MUO) 5th Generation Planning and Integration team. Candidate will act as the F-22 MRE at Fort Worth, TX. Primary tasks are to develop and track Initial Retrofit Plans (IRPs) and modification planning workbooks. The candidate will support F-22 prototype/verification/validation events. Candidate should possess solid background in F-22 structural, Vehicle and Mission System functionality and operation. Will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) leading the coordination and execution of the modification events that support the Depot Flow Plan (DFP) and Operational Test (OT) events. Perform analysis of engineering drawings, process specifications, modification kits parts lists, and required supplemental data, to support the modification/retrofit as defined by the Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO). Direct coordination with site senior leadership, Program Management, Technical Order Development (TOD), and Special Program Office (SPO) representatives to capture deficiencies within all artifacts supporting the specific modification. Responsible for compiling post verification findings to develop government verification certification form documentation. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality are required. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a process improvement-oriented mindset. Flexibility working with a diverse customer base is a key program requirement.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
