Equipment Service Person

The Equipment Service Person performs emergent, planned and routinely scheduled work such as preventative maintenance. Tasks may include transporting oils and lubrication products and coolants to and from job sites, changing oil and coolants as required, maintaining proper fluid levels, and disposal of contaminated fluids. Perform routine greasing of machines and mechanical equipment; draining, cleaning, and replacing fluids; remove packing lubricants from new equipment and replenishing operating lubricants as required. Replace a variety of filter types for dust collectors, paint booths and HVAC. Assist various craftsmen with maintenance of machines and mechanical equipment; respond and perform cleanup of various spills, and the ability to safely operate motorized vehicles. Clean as you go is required to maintain a safe and foreign object damage compliant environment. Ability to attain personal respirator qualification.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with maintaining lubricating records.
• Experience mixing coolants and cutting oils and verifying concentration levels.
• Experience oiling and greasing machines and mechanical equipment.
• Experience replacing air filters of varying types.
• Experience with the collection and disposal of contaminated product to include lubricants, fluids, filters, and debris.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to use grease guns and pumps (electrical, manual, pneumatic) and their accessories to properly lubricate machines and mechanical equipment.
• To use hand and power tools.
• Assist in performing various manual tasks associated with the maintenance, construction, or special cleaning of equipment, machines, buildings, and grounds as required.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions including lubricating charts, tables, and specifications.
• To use arithmetic, including addition and subtraction of whole numbers.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
