Early Career Electrical Engineer (Hardware Design)

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Electrical Engineer (Hardware Design). In this role, you will help design Simulation Hardware (HW) Lab environments for our customers. Tasks include electrical wiring design, schematic capture, 2D drawings, parts lists definition, configuration management, procurement, vendor coordination, HW fabrication liaison, HW checkout, equipment troubleshooting, Lab HW integration, and delivery to cover the entire HW Development Lifecycle. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of developing and integrating Hardware electronic equipment for Hardware-In-The-Loop Lab applications for the F-35 System Integration Labs. Hardware development duties are likely to change over time. Assignments may change over time as required by the organization. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Knowledge of MS Office

Desired Skills:

  • MS OFFICE, MS VISIO, Experience in Electronics equipment troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Electronics design, assembly, and checkout.
  • Experience with interpretation/development of Electrical Wiring Diagrams/Schematics and Parts Lists.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

  • Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
