Associate, 1st Line Customer Support
We are looking for a Hardware & Systems Technician to support and maintain our server environments and client installations throughout their entire lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and automation of our internal and cloud-based systems.
Responsibilities:
System Monitoring & Maintenance
- Monitor distributed systems and perform ERP patches, updates, and hotfix deployments. (Annual updates, new versions, support for existing customers)
- Ensure the stability and availability of customer environments (Service Delivery & Provision).
Cloud Administration & Automation
- Support automation and administration of our AWS cloud solutions.
- Automate internal processes and strive to simplify existing tasks.
Database & Performance
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server: benchmarking, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Server Architecture & Security
- Contribute to cloud-based server architecture, including disaster recovery, security, and integrations with other systems.
- Participate in projects involving system integrations and improvements.
Systems & Application Administration
- Administer Windows systems and virtualization environments.
- Follow internal routines, documentation, and operational processes.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
Required
- Higher/University degree in Informatics, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- 2–3 years of experience in automation, especially with PowerShell.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL–based systems and architectures.
- Experience in System Administration (Windows) and virtualized environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, teamwork skills, and the ability to make decisions.
- High level of reliability, structure, and quality awareness.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken).
Desirable (Advantages)
- Certifications in Cloud and/or Microsoft technologies.
- Experience with database administration (DBA).
- Knowledge of networking, security, firewalls, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and processes.
