Engine plant resident engineers are an integral part of the Ford Motor Company's Internal Combustion Engine Propulsion and Thermal Systems Engineering (IPTSE) organization. These resident engineers at the engine plants are tasked with collaborating closely with the manufacturing teams to pinpoint, contain, and resolve any ongoing quality issues that may arise. Additionally, these resident engineers are responsible for overseeing the launch of new engine components and complete engine systems within the plant facilities. They will maintain close working relationships with the propulsion design teams, the calibration specialists, the plant vehicle teams, and the core quality departments.
This specific position is situated on-site at the Windsor Engine Plant, where the individual will be responsible for the 6.8-liter and 7.3-liter V-eight engines.
