For this role the candidate will support design, documentation, implementation, and validation of embedded hardware solutions used by multiple teams both internal and external to Ford and will be involved in the launch of production embedded software solutions being developed for current and future Ford vehicle programs. The candidate will be a key contributor to the development of embedded software and hardware that is deployed in various L2 and L3 HIL test system and hardware testing environments. Current and future project work will be used in support of ongoing development and testing of the next generation infotainment systems, embedded modem, vehicle cloud connectivity, mobile app development, underbody and powertrain systems and other vehicle ECU testing for Ford vehicles. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned embedded engineer with a demonstrated ability to solution creative and innovative hardware and software solutions, and to deliver elegant solutions with exceptional quality. The ability to lead, collaborate and mentor a motivated and diversely skilled team will be welcome.
