Weight Data Management
Weight data management is a key element to support the Mass Properties team during product development and product cycle life. In order for the Mass Properties engineer to deploy weight deliverables and identify and address issues and opportunities, it is imperative to understand weight status and changes along the product development phases and assumption changes. Mass Properties engineers manage vehicle level target and risks & opportunities based on vehicle level status, but this tracking of status is consolidated and based on part/system level status tracking (bottom-up), which is managed & tracked by Weight Change Management Service, through PMT/D&Rs inputs, who are the part/systems owners.
