Flowserve Engineer

In this role you will be supporting Flowserve customers for AM Business such as commissioning and startup of Control, plug, Trunnion mounted Ball and other Flowserve valve products and accessories including positioners and actuation, also required to generate over $500K in service-related new business as part of their day-to-day job site activities for which there will be a sales incentive.

The role involves site visits, commissioning and troubleshooting Flowserve valves, supporting digital products, calibration, and FAT/SAT tests. The engineer will train customers and technicians, maintain records, perform root cause analysis, guide junior staff, and generate over $500K in service revenue, while following SOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Attending all site calls as per the supervisor instruction.
• Commissioning and startup of Control, plug, Trunnion mounted Ball and other Flowserve valve products and accessories including positioners and actuation for AM Business.
• Providing support for all Flowserve's digital products such as POSITIONERS, STARPACs, Limitorque and their protocols.
• Delivering site support for Flowserve product's issues by troubleshooting and performing the recommended repair.
• Mastering the connections and configurations of the device on the different control system such as PLC and DCS networks.
• Leading and executing FAT/SAT for various control valves. Site survey of onshore/offshore plants for specific job requirement.
• Proficient in performing the calibration for the device's input/outputs control parts.
• Understanding the principle and operation of pneumatic/electric actuators and accessories that are mounted on the valve.
• Communicating with clients and internal team for regular work process.
• Completing daily tasks and being proactive in planning and executing as expected by Manager.
• Providing necessary product training and updates for the technicians, maintaining the work log file for complete site issues and the solutions provided.
• Providing the Root Cause Analyses report for the customer when requested.
• Participating and contributing to process improvements activities within the facility. Assisting technicians in repair work.
• Operating within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and obeying all safety requirements.
• Providing necessary training to the customers to understand the product capabilities.
• Providing onsite training for the customer and introducing new products.
• Providing assistances and guidance to Junior technicians.
• Engineers should generate over $500K in service-related new business as part of their day-to-day job site activities.
• Engineers should generate over $500K revenue from service as part of their day-to-day job site activities.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor of Engineering, Instrumentation / Mechanical or relevant degree with 0-3 years' experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, engineering drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine and technical correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced geometry, trigonometry, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Experience interpreting a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Capable of doing multi-tasking work as and when required.
• Good in communication, problem solving and analytical skill and computer skills e.g. word, excel.
• Having leadership skills to take the lead during customer visits.

Location: The successful candidate will be based in Flowserve in Dammam Office and will be required to travel in the assigned region to visit various customer sites.
