Salesperson (Applications Engineer Pump Solution AM Business)

Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (Applications Engineer Pump Solution AM business). In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for Engineering and special applications.

You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site. This tasks include pump upgrades, repair, replacement and finding solutions to improve current installed FLS and competitor pumps.

Your role:

• Support of the defined customer in the office
• Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals
• Cost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments
• Technical and commercial preparation of offers
• Order acceptance, review, and preparation

Your profile:

• BS or BA Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petrochemical or Industrial Engineering
• Ideally 2 years of experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer
• Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications
• Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking, able to read and interpret technical data and translate to others
• Carry out a sense of energy, ownership and personal dedication to the work and overall work environment.
• Good communication skills
• Have strong self-motivation and drive to meet schedules

Preferred skills/experience:

• SAP knowledge
• Spanish language knowledge
