Salesperson (Applications Engineer)
Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office. In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications. You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.
Your role:
- Prepare quotations by evaluating customers' requirements and provide quotation responses by sizing, specifying and pricing valves in accordance with customers' specifications
- Prepare technically sound and cost-effective quotations, in order to contribute to obtaining related sales and bookings growth
- Prepare detailed, complete and correct purchase order transfer files for proper transfer into our respective manufacturing operations
- Participate in bid clarification meetings with the customers (international travel required)
- Develop a keen understanding of the Flowserve product lines and their respective operations to enhance application engineering, quotation generation and sales support efforts
Your profile:
- BS or BA Degree in relevant field
- Ideally one year of relevant experience
- Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer
- Good communication skills
- Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking
- SAP knowledge Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications
